Dr. Nancy Sharma graduated from the College of Veterinary Science in Ludhiana, India in 2019, where she completed her Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.  She was awarded a merit certificate due to her excellent academic performance.  At the young age of 23, she started working towards her CVMA certification to qualify as a Veterinarian in Canada. 

Dr. Sharma joined the team at Burtch Animal Hospital in 2023. She adores pets and upholds a strong belief in the ethical treatment of animals & their welfare.  What drew Dr. Sharma to vet medicine was the opportunity to serve creatures who could not speak for themselves.

Dr. Sharma’s hobbies include cooking, watching movies and listening to music. She has a keen interest in sports and has participated in several competitions. She is always up for new adventures and ready to experience all that life brings to her with open arms!
